The Original Hot Bikram Yoga Series is at the heart of Hot Yoga The Hague for the benefits and transformations it can brings. The addition of Inferno Hot Pilates, for more focus on core strength, Yin Yoga for the benefits around relaxation, whilst getting those deep stretches and stimulating the meridians and for those that want to go deeper into the practice with the Yoga Sports classes, really complement the Bikram sequence – we hope you find that too!

The Original Bikram Hot Yoga

The Original Bikram Hot Yoga (The Original Hot Yoga/26&2) is a therapeutic healing yoga designed for everybody and every “BODY”.
The Original Bikram Hot Yoga series consists of 26 yoga postures, 2 breathing exercises, practiced for 90 minutes in a heated room of 40 Degrees Celsius and with a humidity of at least 40%. A teacher will guide you using a set of step by step instruction that allow you to try and follow to the best of your ability. Each posture performed, prepare you for the next posture. Performing the postures in a heated room allows you to stretch deeper into the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints that in turn will make sure the oxygenated blood reach 100% of your body. This yoga can improves your circulation, flexibility, prevent injury as well aiding the healing of your existing injuries/ailments. In the process, you will found your whole body and mind strengthen. It is all about progress, not perfection, focusing on what you can do, enjoying the journey and getting the maximum health benefits.

Inferno Hot Pilates (IHP)

Inferno Hot Pilates (IHP) is a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) full body workout with low impact, using Pilates principles. IHP is usually performed in a heated room accompanying music to create a fun atmosphere while we are exercising.

The focus for the first half of the workout is glute activation and building core strength. And the last half focus on the cardio vascular system. The exercise is highly intense and yet low impact. It is designed to create a fast results, building long and lean muscles, healthy strong heart and the fat will continue to burn even after the exercise.

In Inferno Hot Pilates, we may also use props such as weights & resistance bands during the workout, this could help making the exercise even more intense and help to tone and strengthen the upper & lower body faster.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a gentle relaxing yoga that mainly works on stimulating the fascia, ligaments and tendons. A posture is usually held between 2-5 minutes or even longer. Practising this yoga allows you to gain a deep relaxation state. When you practice regularly, yin yoga can reduce your stress and anxiety levels, and improve flexibility and blood circulation. It can also help aid recovery from injuries. The sequence is usually different in each class and the class is accompanied by relaxing music.

Sports Yoga/Intermediate

Yoga Sport or often called Intermediate Class is a more advanced practice from the Bikram Yoga Beginner’s Class. They both derived from the same lineage of Gosh Yoga, Yoga Sports is promoted by the International Yoga Sport Federation and can be practice in a heated or non-heated room for 60 or 90 minutes.
